1.Why system application quits immediately after starting?
The solutions are: ①Check if all the drivers of LR8160 devices are installed correctly. ②If last time the system encountered exception, please reboot computer. ③If the problem still exists after software reinstalled, please delete all files in C:\vicoc. ④If the problem still exists, that means there are hardware problems in LR8160 Card(s), please change hardware.
2.Why sometimes the video preview is not realtime?
At most situation the low speed CPU lead to that status.Please change to a faster CPU.
3.Why the files been backup cannot be played in other computers?
Please make sure the H264 engine is installed. There is an application named “vicocCodec.exe” in the Backup folder or location of installed LR8160 DVR system, please copy and run it once in the computer you want to use to install the engine.
4.Why my client or IE browser cannot connect to DVR server?
There are 3 TCP ports used in DVR software: 5800,5801 and IE Server port(Default is 80). At first, make sure the firewall of both side allow the ports communicating; Second, if the router is used in server side, please make sure the router is mapped the port to server address properly.
5.Why the video signal always twinkle and even lost?
First, please check video signal connector of the DVR Board. If the connector is good, the computer’s power should be main reason. Please use a more stable power.
6.Why the schedule-recording mission didn’t startup?
If the manual recording is working, schedule-recording wait for until manual recording stop manually.
